- Two pints of Claret [Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are all suitable]
- Half a pint of brandy
- Grated nutmeg
- Sugar, to taste
- A juiced lemon
Method
step 1
Combine the red wine and brandy in a punch bowl.
step 2
Add in the grated nutmeg and lemon, then stir. Add in sugar as required, until the punch is sweet enough.
step 3
Serve immediately.
